Royal Tea of Kenya celebrates with the tea community the rare and excellent tippy golden tea produced by our tea farmers. Aptly named by Shirlene Davis, principal owner of Royal Tea of Kenya "Royal Golden Safari Tea;" commemorates the life and achievements of Wangari Muta Maathai. Dr. Maathai was the first African woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004.

On October 2, 2012 Mr.Simrany received the Cha Jing Lifetime Achievement Award in Philadelphia, PA for his lasting contributions to the tea community. Royal Tea of Kenya congratulates Mr. Simrany on the award and we wish him great success in the future.
